Don’t see the shape bent over, ever changing,
Shuffling now, with silvered hair.
Glimpse through the illusion,
See into the mirror of the mind.
The hope held fast, Eternal.
The dreams within believing yet,
The need so strong to reach another’s heart,
To share the wisdom love imparts.
The spirit does not tarnish with the years –
It will always seek out love.
The hand of time has slowly fallen,
Resting firmly now upon the shoulder.
Smooth skin, a quick step – Fade in memories.
But the need within is urgent.
There is more – There is an immortal God,
He Is - The common bond between us all.
